Okay, so i play hypixel, and about yesterday i was playing it and then i took a break. When i came back from the break, i could no longer send messages.. just all of a sudden...
When i type anything, it says "Sending messages is not allowed", and at the top it says, "Chat is restricted. Click this message to learn more.
The link brings me to a website, xbox privacy settings. I can't change any of the things, and at the bottom it says, "You can't change these, learn more"
...
i click learn more and its useless...
someone plz help i want to chat cuz i think chat is very important in the full bedwars experience :P
PS. just for reference, i tried it on single player and chat worked, i tried it on foxcraft and it didnt...

    Hello Keoni Liang,

It looks like the lock is sitting on your Microsoft/Xbox account itself. The thing is, that lock only shows up in a few specific account situations, and the fix path depends on which one you're in.

Could you share a bit more so I can point you at the right one:

    • How old are you, and is your Microsoft account birthdate set correctly?
    • Is your account part of a Microsoft Family group (e.g., managed by a parent), or standalone?
    • Which country is the account registered in? (UK has a separate age-verification requirement that blocks Minecraft chat until verified.)
    • Did anything change recently on the account side — birthdate edit, left/joined a family group, age verification prompt?

Once I know which bucket you're in, the toggles to flip could be straightforward.
