cant sign in to minecraft

when i try to sign in to minecraft on the minecraft launcher, it says we cant sign you in right now, with the error code 0x8000000. this has been happening for a week now. im signed in to the official minecraft website, and on xbox.com, but when i try to sign in to the minecraft launcher, it just signs me out. I enabled stay signed in but it just does not work.
