We are experiencing an issue with Microsoft Defender for Cloud recommendations where deleted resources continue to be flagged as requiring action. It has been more than 10 days since these resources were deleted, yet they still appear as non-compliant in the recommendation's dashboard.
As part of our troubleshooting, we executed the following command across all resource groups within the subscription:
Start-AzPolicyComplianceScan -ResourceGroupName <RG Name>
However, this has not resolved the issue, and the recommendations remain unchanged.
Is there any additional method to force a refresh or re-evaluation of recommendations within the Microsoft Defender for Cloud portal?
Additionally, we are encountering a similar issue with recommendation exemptions. After applying exemptions to certain low severity recommendations, we receive confirmation that the exemptions were successfully applied. However, the recommendation status does not update to Exempted and continues to show its previous compliance state.
Could you please advise on any known delays, synchronization issues, or alternative steps to trigger the recommendation and exemption status refresh?
Thank you.
