New photo program on Windows 11

Is there any way to get an older version of photos other than that preloaded on my Windows 11 comp. I have tried for a solid week to get it to print the size photo I want without wasting photo paper. I would like to be able to print 4 or more pics per page. And why can't I access my photos saved to my desktop in a folder. Or even arrange my photos in the "gallery" into folders for easier access? I simply DO NOT LIKE this program that is already loaded. Your tutorials nor anything I have found on YouTube have helped. Please, I want the old program back!!!

I understand how frustrating it can be when you are not satisfied with the new Photos app in Windows 11, especially with printing multiple photos per page, organizing photos, and accessing folders easily. 

Before we proceed, could you please clarify a few details: 

  • Are you trying to print photos directly from the Photos app or from File Explorer? 
  • When you say you cannot access your desktop photos, do they appear in File Explorer but not inside the Photos app?
