Loop Notes for a Meeting Series

Many of my Teams meetings are series meetings. I have tried to add a loop agenda to my meeting series invite, but the issue is that then the full notes from the first meeting you have of the series get pulled into every meeting of the series. The issue is further compounded with facilitator. Facilitator generates notes in the loop page meeting notes, so after you've had 20 meetings in a series (like my team huddle) all that content exists in one continuous note. This is completely impractical. Is there any way to use facilitator in a meeting series where it can have it pull from one clean agenda template and it can create unique notes for each meeting?

    Hi @Heather Shipp,

    Thank you for raising this.

Based on the current behavior of Loop meeting notes or agenda in recurring Teams meetings, what you are seeing is expected at this time. When a recurring meeting uses a Loop notes component, the notes can continue across the series instead of automatically creating a separate clean notes page for each occurrence. Because Facilitator writes into those same notes experience, long-running recurring meetings can become difficult to manage.

At present, there doesn't appear to be a built-in configure that lets you keep one reusable recurring-meeting agenda template and have Facilitator automatically generate unique notes for each meeting occurrence.

For now, the practical workaround is to keep a reusable agenda template and duplicate it for each meeting occurrence, so each session starts with a clean notes page. This is manual, but it is the closest available approach if you need separate notes for each meeting in the series.

Overall, this appears to reflect a current design gap, rather than a misconfiguration within your environment. I hope you can submit suggestions through the Loop Feedback Community, where the product team can review and evaluate enhancement requests for possible consideration in future updates.

From a practical perspective, the most effective contribution would be to submit feedback in the Loop Feedback Community and clearly outline the business impact of this recurring-meeting scenario. If a similar suggestion already exists, adding your support to that request can further increase its visibility. In many cases, detailed feedback that explains how the current behavior affects recurring meeting management and note organization is more valuable than a brief feature request, as it gives the product team clearer context when assessing priority and potential future improvements.

I hope this explanation is helpful, and that you may consider sharing your suggestion through the feedback portal.
