    Hi Advaith Goriparti

Since the error appears while connecting family members and includes a Trace ID, this may be caused by a stuck sign-in session, an account already linked to another family group, or a device/account verification issue.

This issue may be caused by a stuck sign-in session, an account already linked to another family group, or an unverified Microsoft account on the shared device.

Please try signing out and back into Microsoft Family Safety, testing in an InPrivate/Incognito browser, and checking whether each family member is already part of another family group. Also make sure each person uses their own Windows profile and that there is no Verify or Sign in again prompt under Settings > Accounts > Your info.

If the same Trace ID continues to appear after these steps, the Trace ID is mainly useful for Microsoft Support because community users cannot look up server-side logs from it. Please share the Trace ID only with Microsoft Support through a private support channel, not as public account information in the forum.

    Thank you for your understanding
